How to play the couples deck

1. Add both names

   The deck alternates between you and writes the other person into the cards (“tell Sam your first impression of them”).

2. Pick the level

   Chill: memories, favourites and easy questions. Classic: honest questions and small dares. Wild: flirty challenges, still nothing explicit.

3. Play a card

   Do what the card says, answer the question, or take the sips instead. Rule cards (like holding hands for four cards) stay on screen until they end.

4. Keep it kind

   Anyone can skip anything. The game works best when both of you enjoy the answers.

The Drunk Desires card game (and other couples decks)

Drunk Desires is a popular couples drinking card game: a deck of about 50 flirty questions and dares for two. You take turns drawing; “…or drink” cards mean you do what the card says or take a drink, and “drink if…” cards apply to both of you. Other couples decks work the same way, and so does Truth or Drink.

Sexy (but not explicit) drinking games for couples

Looking for sexy drinking games or sex drinking games for a couple’s night in? Our Wild level is as far as this site goes: flirty compliments, whispered secrets, slow dances, kisses on the cheek and “who made the first move” questions. It’s suggestive, never explicit.

Whatever you play, the ground rules matter more than the cards: agree on the level together before you start, either of you can skip any card, and the game stops the moment one of you wants it to. Keep the drinks light: nobody can say yes to anything if they’ve had too much.

Date-night tips

Keep drinks light (wine spritzers, low-alcohol beer, or mocktails with Any drink mode), set a snack break every 20 cards, and stop at the moment it’s most fun. If one of you isn’t drinking, use No alcohol: penalties become points, and the loser plans the next date.

   You: plan your next date in 30 seconds, out loud. If the player on your left doesn’t like it, take 1 sip.

   Water break: pour each other a glass of water and trade one sentence about your week.

7. Flirty

   You: kiss the player on your left on the hand like it’s a costume drama, or take 1 sip.

8. Question

   You: what’s the biggest thing we’ve disagreed about? Answer or take 2 sips.

9. Question

   You: what is one thing you wish the player on your left did more? Answer or take 2 sips.

10. Challenge

    You: do your best impression of the player on your left when they’re hungry, or take 2 sips.

11. Flirty

    You: tell the player on your left your favourite thing about kissing them, or take 3 sips.

12. Flirty

    You: let the player on your left choose a nickname for you that you must answer to all night, or take 3 sips.

First-date version

Chill level only, “Go easy” on, and skip any card that feels too personal.

Anniversary edition

Before playing, each writes three memories on paper; read one every ten cards and guess the date it happened.

Long-distance couples

On a video call, one of you shares the screen and you each drink your own drink.

No alcohol

Sips become points; the winner chooses tomorrow’s breakfast.

Tips for a good game

• Talk through the levels before you start so neither of you is surprised.
• Answer questions properly; that’s the whole fun of a couples game.
• A dare is never mandatory: “take the sips” is always an option.
