Drinking roulette: quick rules
Take turns spinning the wheel. Whatever segment the pointer lands on happens: take a sip, give some out, drink water, answer a truth, do a dare, make a rule, or pass safely. Pass the phone to the left after each spin. Edit the segments to make it your own.

Shot roulette and shot glass roulette
Shot roulette is usually played with a physical wheel: small glasses sit around the edge, and wherever the ball lands, that glass gets drunk. You can play the same game with this page and any glasses: number your glasses (1 to 4), fill them with whatever you like, including water or juice, and choose the Shot-glass roulette wheel on our shot games page.
Keep it to small sips and include a water pocket or two; a wheel that only ever lands on spirits is how game night ends early.
Spin the shot
“Spin the shot” is spin the bottle with a shot glass in the middle: whoever the glass points at takes a sip from it. The wheel above does the same job without the spilling. For the circle version with players around it, use Spin the Bottle.
Ideas for your own wheel
- Theme nights: a movie wheel (“quote a movie or take 1”), a sports wheel (“name a player on the team”).
- Couples wheel: compliment, kiss on the cheek, truth, slow dance, water.
- Big groups: “everyone wearing black”, “youngest”, “last to arrive”.
- No alcohol wheel: replace sips with forfeits (sing a line, do 10 squats, swap seats).

- Two-player roulette
- Take turns spinning; “Left” and “Right” both mean the other player.
- Double or nothing
- After any spin, the player may spin again: if the second spin is “Safe”, both are cancelled; otherwise both count.
- No alcohol
- Set No alcohol in the wheel settings: sips become penalty points.
Tips for a good game
- Keep at least two “Water” or “Safe” segments on any wheel.
- Let the spinner read the result out loud; it keeps everyone watching.
- Share your custom wheel before the party so the group can add ideas.
